Challenges
Per the 12th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution, the House of Representatives votes for the next president of the United States with one vote per state in the event that the electoral college fails to select a president (Cornell (Amendment XII)). The question would close upon the counting of electoral votes by a joint session of Congress designating a winner.
