How many total Southwest Land Border Encounters will be reported in the US from April 2022 through June 2022 by US Customs and Border Protection (CBP)?
Closed Jul 01, 2022 07:01AM UTC
The flow of people illegally crossing the US border with Mexico remains a hot political issue (Economist, ABC 15, Pew Research). The question will be suspended on 30 June 2022 and the outcome determined using data as reported by CBP for the months of April, May, and June 2022 (US Customs and Border Protection). For April 2021, CBP reported a total of 178,795 encounters in the US southwest.
