In the 2024 MLB season, all baseball teams are divided into one of six divisions, with three divisions in the American League (AL) and three in the National League (NL) (Sports Interaction). In the 2023 regular season, three AL teams lost 100 or more games: the Chicago White Sox with 101, the Kansas City Royals with 106, and the Oakland Athletics with 112 (MLB - 2023 Standings). The regular season is scheduled to conclude on 29 September 2024 (MLB - 2024 Schedule). If the number of games played by all teams in the regular season is changed for any reason, the threshold will not be adjusted.
