ALabinsky asks:
What will voter turnout be in the 2024 presidential election?
Closing Nov 05, 2024 08:01AM UTC
Turnout will be a major factor in the outcome of the 2024 presidential election (ABC News, Yahoo [LA Times], University of Florida Election Lab). The question will be suspended on 4 November 2024 and the outcome determined using data as reported by the US Elections Project (US Elections Project). The data will be linked as "General" next to "2024" and found under the "Vote for Highest Office (President)" and "Voting-Eligible Population (VEP)" (titles may vary) column for "United States," typically in the first row US Elections Project - Numerator, US Elections Project - Denominator). In 2020, The "Vote for Highest Office (President)" was 158,407,854 and the "Voting-Eligible Population (VEP)" was 239,924,038, for a turnout rate of 66.02417%. The data will be accessed for resolution on 31 December 2024. If no data are available on 31 December 2024, the outcome will be determined using data when first available.
