Challenges
The EP last elected the EC on 27 November 2019, with 11 females and 15 males (France24, EP - Press Release 27 November 2019, EP - Infographic). For the purposes of this question, EC President Ursula von der Leyen is not considered to be a commissioner. If the EP has not elected the EC commissioners before 1 December 2024, the close date will be extended.
