The Japanese yen weakened against the US dollar from September to November 2024, though the impact of expected policy changes with the new US administration remains to be seen (US News & World Report). The question will be suspended on 27 March 2025 and the outcome determined using data as reported by the Federal Reserve Economic Data (FRED) database (FRED). On 22 November 2024, the closing value was 154.73.
