The impact of potential US tariffs on Canadian goods to be imposed by the incoming Trump administration has weighed on Canada's currency (US News & World Report, Forex.com). The question will be suspended on 29 May 2025 and the outcome determined using data as reported by Google Finance (Google Finance, set to "6M"). On 5 December 2024, the exchange rate value was 1.4022.
