Closing Sep 30, 2025 07:01AM UTC
Water storage in Northern California reservoirs, including Lake Shasta, was above normal as of the end of 2024 (Active NorCal, Newsweek). The question will be suspended on 30 September 2025 and the outcome determined using data as reported by the California Department of Water Resources (California Data Exchange Center - Lake Shasta, divide the "Storage" figure by the "Total Capacity" figure, both of which are in acre feet [AF]). Click the calendar icon next to "Change Date" to look at historical data. On 30 September 2024, Lake Shasta had 2,766,120 AF of Storage with a Total Capacity of 4,552,000 AF, meaning it was 60.767% full.
