While the Trump administration is widely considered friendly to cryptocurrency, bitcoin was off its post-election highs in late February 2025 (AP, Economic Times). The question will be suspended on 29 June 2025 and the outcome determined using Coinbase price data as reported by the Federal Reserve Economic Data (FRED) database (FRED). On 30 June 2024, the price of one bitcoin was $62,678.10.
