The yield (or interest rate) for 10-year German Bunds jumped in March 2025 as government coalition talks led to a plan for a constitutional change to the country's "debt brake" (Deutsche Welle, MSN [Reuters], CNBC). The question will be suspended on 18 September 2025 and the outcome determined using data as reported by Trading Economics (Trading Economics, set to "6M"). On 14 March 2025, the yield was 2.873%.
