What will be the closing price for copper per pound on 21 November 2025, according to Trading Economics?
Closing Nov 21, 2025 08:01AM (in 8 months)
On 25 February 2025, President Trump ordered an investigation into US reliance on copper imports, followed by an executive order to increase domestic "critical mineral" production (WhiteHouse.gov, CNBC). While the deadline in Trump's February order was "within 270 days," Bloomberg reported on 26 March 2025 that Trump may impose new copper tariffs "within weeks" (Yahoo [Bloomberg]). The question will be suspended on 20 November 2025 and the outcome determined using price data (USD per pound) as reported by Trading Economics (Trading Economics, set to "6M").
