I appear to be the only sentient being on my so called team. There's an automaton that likes to play against when I enter a 0/100% forecast on first release of a question. The only score I/we have is on the Bering SIE. I have rocketed up to 152nd and my team moved up ten slots to 315. What kind of shenanigans are they putting you thru. Dsarin tops the leaderboard at Carbon.

@dsarin
No it was closed in the above 13,730 bracket, on the first day and then they reversed the rankings apparently to piss me off.

Page 19 restated time and dates of Bloomberg closed market tied to holiday.

PAGES 6 and 12 mention pre/post market and fixings frequency/calculation methodology
Everything in this most recent Bloomberg BFIX methodology points to No open/close on 3/30/18, and 3/29/18 as last closing with next open/close occurring on 4/2/18.

Since question stated 'closing' 'daily' rate as reported by Bloomberg, and there was none issued (no closing nor open) on 3/30 then it would make sense that either this question is resolved with last/most recent closing daily rate on 3/29, or it is voided...with a generous and genuine apology from the question developers.

Bloomberg normally shows a 24-hour trading data set (close @ 4:48PM Open @5:00PM), Wall Street, was closed on the 30th and the data from the 29th late night and the first 4 hours of the 30th does not reflect the opening or close of trading on Wall Street.

I couldn't agree with you more on this. My recalculated accuracy score is whapping +0.190 now. 30th of March was a silly day to pick (as bad as 29th of Dec they normally take).

I played with the Bloomberg terminal a bit. They provide several USD/ IDR quotes and all but one closed well above 13,730. Only 2 quotes had values for 30th of March.

The question was reversed soon after the following comments:

Yes, there is no BFIX rate for 03/30/2018 but they used BGN Curncy

Post this in your forum for me, please, I can email you the Screen Print for the image of the page at 4:40am to post

Unless this was a "Trick" question Bloomberg data chart reflects a normal closed market day, in this case the 30th reflects the 4:40am or low for the 30th, nevertheless Bloomberg does not have an official Closing @ 4:48 PM or Opening @ 5:00 PM, which exists as the official data for all open market days listed. Reference: Bloomberg Fixings. BFIX Methodology. Foreign Exchange.

Lars Ericson, post exists a bit out of academics unless he is suggesting this was a trick question.

What will be the Indonesian Rupiah (IDR) to one U.S. Dollar daily exchange rate on 30 March 2018?

Not the random /arbitrary rate at 4:40AM when Bloomberg’s data chart stopped reporting due to the Holidays.

In fact the question details author should have known that Bloomberg would be closed on the 30th and elected to utilize the 29th or 2nd as a closing date instead of closing the forecast on a non-reporting Bloomberg Holiday.
